


CHEESECAKE DESERT!
Many people have been asking "how you make it?"
Here is the steps:
Prepare: 2 trays/containers of 9"by 6" by 1" and line with aluminium foil
Ingredients and Steps for Base:
320g Digestive Biscuits (I've tried replacing with Oreo)
160g Melted Butter
1. Crush biscuits and stir in melted butter.
2. Divide and press onto the base of the trays/containers.
Chill for 15mins or untill needed.
3. Prick base with the back of a skewer before pouring in the filling.
Ingredients and Steps for Filling:
250g Cream Cheese
2 1/4 tsp Gelatine Powder
70g Sugar
150ml Boiling Water
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
20 Medium Size Strawberries (optional)
1. Using a small heart-shaped cutter (1"), cut hearts out of the strawberry halves.Place on a plate lined with paper towel.
2. Place gelatine and sugar in a bowl. Pour boiling water over and stir untill gelatine has dissolved (about 10 mins). If it doesn't dissolve completely, place this bowl over a bigger bowl filled with boiling water.
3. Beat cream cheese and vanilla essence together. Add gelatine syrup gradully and cream untill smooth. Pour into the trays/containers.
4. Place 20 hearts on each tray/container, partially submerged in cheese. Refrigerate untill firm, about 2 hours.
Toppings:
1 pkt (170g) strawberry flavoured Jell'O (Ive tried other flavours like Pineapple and Raspberry)
360ml boiling water
1. Dissolve Jell'O in boiling water.
2. Cool completely before pouring over the cheese filling.
